Not ALL unions have agreed

US has come to terms with all unions except the IAM--they are supposedly close but not there yet. If they do not reach an agreement by Thursday, the judge could very well abrogate their contract, imposing concessions on them--at which point they had indicated they would strike.

The FA's agreement is out for a vote right now--results should be in by Wednesday night I think.

Also GE's deadline for an extra $100 million in financing or cost cuts looms on January 14th. If they don't meet that requirement then GE could possibly pull the plug.

I am a little less optimistic than usual but I do believe they will survive--still my recommendation would be to wait to the 15th IF you can to make the final decision.
