The 74-room hotel was originally built in 1972 and bought by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians in 2012. The tribe’s hospitality portfolio also includes two newly remodeled AAA Four Diamond-rated hotels: Chumash Casino Resort Hotel in Santa Ynez and Corque Hotel in Solvang. As the largest employer in the Santa Ynez Valley, the tribe employs more than 1,800 residents of Santa Barbara. From:
