IMO its a free card, so it makes sense to keep. If you want a singular card to use for everything, switch to CFU and keep the preferred for travel only. I would recommend throwing an Ink Cash into the mix too so you can get the 5x at office supply stores :-)
Yeah, ever since the CSP refresh, it's just a bit better (3x + 10% bonus at the end of the year vs. 3x) for dining, so it's been getting all my usage for that and travel. When I first picked up the CSP, I was definitely of the mindset of "CFF for dining and useful 5x quarters, CSP for travel and unlocking transfers." I've gone back and forth a bit on if there are ways to squeeze a bit more URs out of things, but I think (like many others), I'm running into the bad overlap issues that Chase has sort of set up - basically leading to "do I get a little more on a 5x CFF category for a small part of the year or do I get .5x more on the very small amount of unbonused spend each month?" (I've sort of optimized most other things to 3-5% cash back and then have an old, kind of useless Amex ED(P) that is hanging around for account age and the occasional upgrade/downgrade game.)

I like where your head is at with the Ink Cash - unfortunately, I moved and the only office supply stores around me are a pair of much-neglected Office Depots that don't have a great gift card selection, so that may not make a lot of sense right now.
