The evening flight from SEA-OGG was an easy cut--especially with the damaged plane at SNA leaving them one plane short. More cuts will likely come. It is not sustainable to fly all of those empty planes on transcon length flights for months. Kaanapali alone had 20% of the available rooms on the island and with those gone for the foreseeable future, the number tourists coming will naturally have to decrease anyway until West Maui is back in recovery mode.
