While Starbucks coffee and espresso drinks are prepared and served the barista is not from Starbucks but is one of the regular Alaska Lounge employees.
But sadly the Alaska barista seems to be trained in Starbucks style drinks, so asking for an
espresso macchiato (espresso stained with a dollop of milk) will usually get you a large, sugar-syrup flavored coffee drink.
Pet peeve of mine, and my biggest grudge against Starbucks...
