Thank you all for your advice. I hadn't thought about the lounge being Airside, and the lockers being landside etc. Best I abandon my dinner plan, head straight to town to eat, boat, lights from the avenue and back for security and a shower.

Seems daft needing to take out cash for such a small trip...Am I correct in thinking that if i get an 'on-loan' octopus card from the station any remaining balance will be transferred back to my account when i return it?
