R Does it matter if a lap infant ticketed more than once for the same flight?
I have resurrected this rather than start a new thread as I am not sure if this is ticketed properly, and I wonder if anyone can give me some guidance.
As a reminder I was trying to add an extra seat for my infant under 2 on just the return segment of an Avios reward booking. I had to pay cash for this as there was no reward availability.
Here is what I have:
PNR1 the original one:
Outbound and return: All passengers including the lap infant both ways. Original ticket numbers for everyone showing still in Manage My Booking.
PNR2:
Just the infant for the return flight only, with their own seat. Different ticket number attached.
PNR3:
Me and the lap infant for the outbound flight. No ticket number attached for me, but there is a different one again for the lap infant.
Will I have an issue with the fact that my little one, seems to be ticketed twice for the same flight? As two lap infants on the outbound. And on the return both as a lap infant and in their own seat?
I know two adults for the same flight triggers an auto-cancel, but will this?
