What was the outcome of that business card application after you submitted all the documents?
I was approved, but I remember I had two long phone calls and was practically begging for the card. I had already gotten the personal card and started charging to meet the minimum spend for the SUB, had my heart set on getting the Companion Pass. It was frustrating because I was reading all the blogs and forum posts about people who didn't even have businesses, applying for the business card in their own name / SSN and calling it a sole proprietorship, whereas I'd had a legitimate business for 20+ years. So at that time, I felt I'd made a mistake by applying as the business.

Since I file Schedule C now as sole proprietor, I'm tempted to just apply under my own name. If I had to document income, I'd be better off documenting personal income rather than business income. And my personal credit score is over 800, whereas my business has no publicly available credit profile. I have an AmEx Cent and several other Chase cards already with high credit limit, but I don't think I've applied for more than one Chase card in the past couple of years (IHG).
