QR934 doesn't operate every day, only 4x a week, ever since it was reinstated post-pandemic and indeed, it has been this way even before the pandemic. The normal DOH-MNL allotment was 2x daily service; not sure what concessions QR did to gain a 3rd frequency, albeit not daily.
A suggestion: why not book QR932 which departs 7 hours later? With a J class ticket (except P), you can have a shower, rest, eat, and wander around both Al Mourjans. Just had a 5 hour layover the other day and was surprised at how quickly it went -- mostly looking at/taking pics around The Garden.
Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, I have a connecting flight to ZAM on 5J in the morning. Taking the QR932 is not an option since it would mean overnighting in MNL for an early ZAM flight with PAL What really bugged me, though, was that the QR934 was there for as long as I was tracking it (or more like procrastinating) until this morning. Wondering what would have happened had I decided to book it before going to sleep last night.
