When calling the Partner Desk, if the agent cannot get it done, ask if they could check with a supervisor. You probably will need a supervisor. If after a couple of HUCA's they cannot move the date, then I would attempt to have them drop the segment. This may actually help if the HND-BKK segment is the married restricted one and the ORD-HND is not restricted (which is normally the case for JAL married segments. I don't think I have seen a USA-TYO segment married restricted). Once you drop the married restricted segment you then should have no trouble adding another segment after a stopover (so long as that segment shows individual availability.
