Happened the same to me. Marriott proposed to reach out to hotel (as they see 2 different cancellation policies in their 2 systems).
Hotel was super helpful and confirmed it's system (ie. automatic) so should not worry, reservation works with the cancellation policy that was confirmed at time of booking.
