2) It’s very easy to email both the hotel directly
”E-mail -
[email protected]” this is from their Hyatt.com page
Or
[email protected]
They do say always get it in writing which I would take to be common sense.
3) Be Patient if you try to rush things through you’re not going to get results especially when the hotel is dealing with this massive catastrophe.
I definitely would not consider the basic reservations line to be “dealing with Hyatt corporate” at all. I’ve literally had multiple times where I’ve just been hung up on from them.
In the situation like this Hyatt Corporate would act as a middle man to mediate between the individual and the hotel which is fairly easy. Hyatt however, is not the one that is able to issue a refund as the hotel is the one who held the prepaid funds.
I just don’t see why one would take it out on Hyatt Corporate or other Hyatt Franchisees who provide excellent service, excellent accommodations, and memorable experiences.
I feel like I’m this situation Hyatt Corporate might even offer points in addition to the refund as there’s no alternate accommodations to be offered for the dates booked (nor should there be), but just to leave a positive feeling with the customer.
