I have to ask, what did you book that costs 15 grand at the Hyatt Maui ( a very over crowded place IMO) and why would you pre pay so much before arrival ? How about if YOU got sick, etc ?
I pay using points 90% of the time and the other 10% I pay when I check out with a MAYBE a night or 2 deposit if it's necessary.
