Has anyone stayed in the Avani Pattaya recently?

I'm due in there over Christmas for two weeks and am a newly minted Titanium. Subsequently, I'm wondering what the status recognition is like and chances of upgrades?

Normally I'm at Hilton properties so this will be interesting etc.
