I discussed with mgt and the best they could do was make an exception and allow me to bring food outside the lounge. Suite and breakfast were outstanding. Great beach club and pools.
I’m currently at the property and have to defend the property on this one. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many kids at a hotel. See picture of the main pool from this morning (and this wasn’t the “family” or kids pools, which also exist!) They’re annoyingly not serving breakfast in the regency club at the moment despite being at >90% occupancy and the breakfast restaurant was a nightmare this morning. A line out the door waiting for a table at 10:15 (when breakfast was supposed to end at 10:30), kids screaming and running around everywhere, half eaten donuts and abandoned plates of food all over the place. I was assigned a table that was never cleared from the prior guests, etc. The Regency Club was a pleasant respite from that and I suspect it would be a very different environment if kids were allowed.
