The DL excuse coming out of the pandemic in 2022 was something to the effect that DL had a significant amount of random wine lots to go through and menus couldn’t be printed accurately to reflect the actual catered wines. Only a mater of time before DL has a premium bar concept in the D1 cabin similar to the SkyClub.

Flew domestic D1 JFK-SFO on Friday. They had wine in bottles on this flight…wow! I was so happy I actually had to send in a compliment on a product that used to be standard on most domestic first class flights.

Thats actually not a bad selection for the domestic service compared to what it has been on DL and better then the other US airlines (outside of the flagship selection).... Should still be better but that is at least “an improvement”.
