We just stayed at the Doubletree in downtown Victoria, BC, and the TV was attached in an indented area in the wall rendering the HDMI ports inaccessible. This physical problem seems to be the most frequent barrier to firestick use when traveling.

When selecting the HHonors internet network, leave enough time for the firestick to process the login interrupt.
