FLY (aka Altéa Suite) has it's own seating functionality including Theoretical Seating (see separate thread), this is still visible from T-72 to T-25 for those with status, but at T-24 it's under Airport Control and thus only visible via OLCI.

Maybe this is an obvious point to make but if this really is a regular problem then pay up for EF? And if it's not a regular problem then use FT instead? There is a dedicated thread for this, and both the TS and Seating threads can be found via the BA Forum Dashboard.
Thanks as always CWS for this exhaustive and informative answer, and an honor for you to drop in on my thread 🥰
Indeed I was an EF subscriber when this was a regular issue, perhaps I should consider resubscribing

Aside: It's crazy (and typical for BA!) how a third party is able to offer functionality that most other airlines are able to provide on their website, I really was expecting there to be a way to use ba.com but I suppose not.

Thanks again!
