you can do 5 searches (create seat alert) a day on expert flyer without paying.
Theoretical seating means any ba map at t-72 will only show available seats. It not distinguish between blocked seats and occupied seats.most airlines using ALTEA will have a similar issue. Blocked seats may become available as more people check in.
I recommend you look at the free EF.
