You bought a ticket, adhered to their terms, and they did not. I certainly don't think you'd need to take this all the way to court, but if you did, I suspect you'd win.

My BPs always show "KENNEDY SCOTTMR" if some system has added a title (which I always try to avoid, just like my middle name)
"KENNEDY SCOTTMRDR" seems quite plausible if I were a doctor and a selected that option.
On the middle name thing - I am not sure why any airlines / travel agents ask on this as for me I try 100% to never use it and omitting has never given me any trouble. . . Including my middle name . on the other hand . . has given me nothing but issues - especially with online checkin . . . . I always say - I never book with it - please do not add it . .
