The advice I gave you is correct, I can't understand the post of [MENTION=10091573]oskiboski[/MENTION] when he speaks of cancelling pax from the flight? I would you wouldn't be cancelled . Perhaps a mistranslation from Polish, plus speculation on the causes of delay, when one of their MAX is AOG in AMS as we speak after squawking 7700 is a bit funny...

Anyway, on separate tickets there is no protection. If your flight is late, the best you can hope for is they would wait for you like they would wait if you had one ticket, or there are other pax, etc etc. All having noticed you are inbound from AMS by opening your booking.
