I just parked there for the first time and found it safe and efficient. Cost was comparable to what other nearby lots were charging. Though the main advantage is the use of an “exclusive lane” by its shuttles inside LAX. On the outbound flight it took me 15-20 minutes to go from exiting my car to arriving at UA’s check-in kiosks. Upon returning, with carryon luggage only, I went from exiting the gate to my car in about 20-25 minutes. It makes planning logistics much more predictable.
The drawback is the shuttle only runs on the arrival level, meaning if you have lots of luggage it could be a challenge to haul them to the departure level.
I normally hire a driver to bring me to LAX, though I won’t hesitate to use this economy structure again for shorter trips.
I had an advanced reservation with discounts.
I agree. Just parked there for a 1 day trip to the Bay Area. The license plate scan to enter was neat, and so was the cute little robot. Love the directional signs showing where spots are available, and the escalators. Seems like the structure is already running out of space, same story as with Lot E, there was only just enough space. Exiting was weird though. Since I prebooked, I expected it would scan my license plate and let me out, but I had to scan my QR code. A few of us couldn't figure it out until we were told.
I also like that it's in a location where you can completely avoid the main airport traffic by exiting at La Tijera.
The shuttle ride felt like it took forever though, mostly on the return since I was at Terminal 1.
I like that there are discounts, but don't like that it has become like Southwest where you have keep your eyes open at all times and then rebook to get a more reasonable rate.
