True about not getting in on the Transcon but you would have access b/c in this situation the 6am rule should apply since you are arriving on the short haul the same day (as opposed to a red eye when the 6am rule is null since it lands the next day anyways). So your long haul leaves at 115am so since thats before 6am you should have no issue. Also, its not like you have some crazy long layover where they can try to argue that. At most you have what 9 hours..

You should have no issues accessing the QF F Lounge at LAX due to your EXP (OWE) status with a qualifying Int'l Long Haul flight. And BTW, it makes no difference if they are on the same record locator.
I'm in a similar situation. I should have asked earlier, but I'm about to fly into LAX with UA on one ticket and AA to HND on another. I'll essentially have about 9+ hours at LAX. AA26 is apparently departing a bit later on my date. It was originally scheduled to leave 12:45 AM the day after I arrive at LAX, but it's now pushed back to 1:05 AM. I'm just a little worried I'll encounter someone at the front desk and I'll be denied entry since I'm arriving at LAX so early and that I'm technically not leaving until the next day. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I had a mini argument with the Australian rep trying to enter. He was trying to steer me to the AA FL even though I'm BAEC Gold/OWE!
