IAD - FRA this week. It was the earlier of the two daily departures (5:20 pm), but departed 3.5 hours late, so everyone was automatically served express style. Pre-ordered (chicken) mainly just to see what would happen, and happy to report all went smoothly. When taking meal orders, FA saw and acknowledged the pre-order and asked if that's still what I wanted. Pre-order for family member on same flight also went smoothly. Meal was actually ok, and family member who had the shrimp also said it was pretty decent.
