As said in the other thread, a broker is the answer. For example, booked from Sixt via
BSP Auto you'll get one for less than $70 a day including the one way fee - see below.
It only gets expensive if you need a larger one (as Mercedes and BMW are the last companies offering spacious true four-seat convertibles, for a price) and insist on automatic transmissions.

I haven't used them specifically, but going a bit off topic and out of the forum region, using third parties to get out of one-way fees is something I've done a few times for airport transfers in London. Works out cheaper than National Express for 2+ people and if you combine with an overnight really helps with the hotel situation since you don't have to stay right next to the airport.
