We are in a stopover hotel (don’t know which yet it’s too early) with a late afternoon flight. I am planning to set up my car back for around 9-9.30 so I will have my breakfast late in the lounge rather than find/pay for something land side. I see that as being no different to what the OP is doing ie arriving 6 hours early
