Not to be sarcy but can't your friend go in and check by changing their seat? Or can you check for them with their PNR? This will likely yield the most up to date info in order to help your friend.
There is no option to change seat anymore (apparently this is quite typically if there has been an equipment swap), and there doesnt appear to be any refund button/option... just thought id ask here if anybody had experience.
Ill get him to ask via the web chat for a refund to see how he gets on.
