The issue, as you are finding, is availability. I'd been searching, as well, and there is very limited availability in J and F on QR and EY through the end of the schedule.
I am very confused as to the new terminology now with no more Saver Awards. Like just for AA flights, for example if I was going LAX-JFK in F the 95K & 130K ones were never Saver of course but those 39K Saturday night ones were Saver award and I knew those were the ones I can attach to a partner award where I need to position myself.
So now with no more Saver what kind of award is it called/what I am looking for that I know an agent (a good agent, possibly after HUCA) will be able to attach. At the moment I have an F seat on JL 3 but need to get to JFK. To no surprise at all the agent last night and this afternoon both said they cant help, one stating there is no F seats avail on AA to get to JFK, the other saying I need to cancel my JL award then she is happy to try to do it (no thank you).
