I’ll take a look at The White Horse as an alternative too. Great suggestion about the G&T miniatures.
My reluctance to pay for a fancy restaurant at or near the airport is somewhat colored by a recent trip to Iceland where, apart from BA’s CE breakfast on the way to KEF and what the happened to bring with us, the best food we had was some packaged smoked salmon and gravlax with salad fruit vegetables and crackers from a supermarket. It was much the cheapest meal on the entire trip!
Alternatively, maybe someone has a suggestion of some good and authentic Indian food in Hounslow or nearby, particularly somewhere with some vegetarian options? Could be worth the trip…
My Dear - if you like Indian food then I would look no further than Hounslow. I am no expert as I am not that fond of Spicy Hot food - but I notice that a restaurant called Takaa Tak is slap bang next to Hounslow West tube station. What could be easier? Have fun! Why pay silly money when for a little journey on the Underground you can have something better ? Airports are rip-offs world wide and Heathrow is no exception.
