HNL is very bad. They tell everyone to take off their shoes, regardless. At ORD T1 and JFK (T7, T8, T9), I have never been asked to remove my shoes. LGA (UA) used to be good, but recently a few screeners have begun requiring me to remove my shoes. I am usually able to avoid this at LGA, because I can recognize a good number of screeners at LGA and know a few I should avoid. I have also begun "profiling" at certain airports. Either I watch passengers going through or I look at the screener and often I can choose which line won't require me to remove my shoes.
