This was meant to be my first Euroflyer experience, but I was quietly relieved when it was cancelled 8 days out and I ended up on the Heathrow service. I was in 4F and all three choices were available. The other hot was the gnocchi posted above and the cold option was (I think) a chicken salad.

The member of Main Crew came through with drinks and nuts. She was followed a few minutes after by the IFL offering trays. Champagne (Castelnau) requested in a tumbler as I can't stand the stemmed thimbles.

Celeriac remoulade starter and the much loved/loathed beef cheeks main. The meat fell apart beautifully and was great with a little salt and pepper added. Berry trifle for dessert - delicious.

A proper brew.
If I was tasked with choosing all the elements on my CE dinner tray, this is pretty much the exact meal I'd have opted for. On board we had a fabulous Heathrow crew who delivered the service to a full cabin in a slick and friendly manner. I seem to be lucky with stellar LHR crews and unlucky with mostly abysmal LCY crews this year.
