Introduction As part of our little summer holiday trip to some European cities we travelled to Prague from Berlin.Booked a 2 night stay on Prive rate, for Deluxe View room which was upgraded to Premium room. Annoyingly not long after booking there was a 3 for 2 Prive offer, but train tickets out of Prague had already been booked and we were only using Prague as a resting point.Prior to the stay I contacted Jennifer, Director of Operations (previously at Park Hyatt Zurich), regarding some requests and preferences. These were handled flawlessly, I asked for a particular bottle of wine and we recieved two, multiple bottles of whole milk for our daughter, they sourced a Czech story book for her, the room setup for her in general was excellent. Check In We arrived later than scheduled as our train from Berlin was running late but as the hotel is only a short walk from the train station it wasn't too bad.We were greeted at the door on the tram side entrance by a member of staff who took our bags and escorted us to reception. We recieved a very warm welcome and advised of the Prive benefits from the front desk staff. Veronika the Operations team lead welcomed us and advised us of our upgrade. We where then taken up to our room with our bags and given a quick tour of things in the room. Room We were given room 216.The room had a nice view over the car park - which doesn't sound too appealing but their are some nice buildings around. Despite being on that side of the building noise wasn't an issue at all.The room was a good enough size for the three of us for a couple of nights.Large king bed, a chaise lounge, enough room for a big cot and a table with enough space for 3 chairs. There was also a good sized open wardrobe with 3 large drawers, 1 was used for the safe. The minibar was a good size and the area around it had several shelves.BathroomThe bathroom contained a good sized counter top sink, a good emount of space to the sides and storage underneath. Seperate toilet and shower both with doors that closed fully. The only issue was becuase the shower floor is the same level and the door opens outwards rather than inwards you have to place the towel mat to the side otherwise the door pushes it away when you open it. Plenty of quirky design features around the room. Service Service was on the whole excellent. The pre-arrival communication, the requests were handled efficently and the setup for our daughter was perfect.I requested an extra chair from the front desk and they provided one without any issues. Though the phone in the room was a bit flakey when trying to place in room dining orders the room service staff member came up to the room to take the order.Staff during breakfast were very good, prompt in taking orders, changing cutlery and being proactive with our daughter. Nothing was a problem for them. Dining Breakfast was a mixed a la carte / buffet process. While the buffet items were not extensive it was all great quality. The a la carte menu at the time is as it is on their website currently -

Now the vegetarian / vegan selection isn't amazing but my partner to her surprise enjoyed the stuffed pepper. I had the lamb cutlets which was great. Location Location is great, it's only a few minute walk from Prague main station. Though Prague is a very walkable city the tram stop right outside runs multiple lines so it's very easy to get around. NámÄ›stÃ. Republiky and Můstek metro stops are only a few minutes walk away too. Overall Our stay really was great and it was a shame we didn't end up staying in Prague for longer, next time we visit we'll definitely be staying here.Levels above a different Andaz we stayed at during our trip.
