We stayed here for four nights in August 2023, with Diamond Ambassador status. It was our second stay at the property: we were here in 2011 and not much has changed since then.

Booked King with Club access, upgraded to King Corner. The room was fine, although it hadn't had a deep clean for a while (bits of broken ball-point pen were lurking under the curtains and behind the desk).

The Club staff were friendly and helpful but the lounge is outdated and the food on offer not great. At breakfast there weren't any fresh bread products -- just bagels and bread for toasting. For some reason the hotel still thinks it's acceptable (or 'upscale'?) to serve French and Italian bottled water in North America. Changing that would be a very easy step towards living up to their "environmentally friendly" claims.

At check out it wasn't possible to generate an invoice or receipt, although we'd booked direct via IHG. A "folio" by email was promised but arrived blank, i.e. with no charges or payments showing. The receptionist didn't ask how our stay had been and wasn't at all keen on being asked for a receipt. An email follow up hasn't yet been replied to, three days later.

We'd return because of the location, but with low expectations.
