Have you seen the documentary “The Last Tourist” on (ir)responsible tourism?

This is free now on various platforms and recently released in the UK. It was a bit disjointed - any one of the issues it took on from “white saviors” volunteering in orphanages to animal entertainment disguised as “help” throughout the world - could have been a movie in itself, but it highlighted the overall problems in hopes of raising awareness, including one new to me. That involves cruise lines telling passengers the “safe” places to shop in places such as the Caribbean. Often those shops, it said, are at least partially owned by the cruise line and no money spent there goes back to the community.

Could have been better - CG flashed too quickly and was often white-on-white - but still worth a watch, I thought. Here’s what Forbes thought:
