I have a bunch of E/G to I mileage upgrades waitlisted.
Waitlisting was relatively painless, short phone calls each time, though self service would be even better but LH IT will never get that sophisticated.
One with P9 cleared three months out.
Another with P9 cleared two months out.
One with C9 cleared two weeks out.
Another is still pending at two weeks with J9 C5.
And the last is still pending at six weeks with J5.
But I really came here to rant about not being able to select seats once an upgrade clears. Not available via the website nor app. Called in but they claimed not possible "until the ticket is reissued" which sounds odd for 220 tickets. I was able to select a seat on the earliest upgrade after three weeks had passed, the others have only cleared recently.
