I have decided to direct a lot of spend to this card for the rest of the year. So far, about $750 has gone on it prior to today.

Today, I put over $1400 on it.

While objectively a UR is worth more than an Aeroplan point, if I can get 3 per dollar, I think the "good will" benefit of getting another 50K for a friend is worth directing all dining (and some other) spend to it for the rest of the year.

I'm not 100% sure I can easily put $50k on it (or I guess $48k at this point), but I also don't think the value of 100k UR points (especially given my UR balance) is worth more than 100k Aeroplan points plus 50K for a friend.
