Former Days Inns, a Comfort Inn and even a Holiday Inn Express. As for the latter: from breakfast to bagel, that doesn't strike me as culinary refinement. It even has a 4.6 star rating on IHG.com at this moment. Never trusted those Germans when it comes to food.
Was just coming here to mention the Holiday Inn Express in Germantown that is converting to a Spark. It was actually a Hampton before becoming an HIE about 10 years ago so while Hilton says they aren't going to convert any Hampton properties to Spark they will be accepting at least one defrocked Hampton. Also, as to the suggestion that Spark will go into towns that are too small for Hampton 10 of the first 11 to get listed on the website are in cities that currently have at least one Hampton. The only new destination is Mansfield, LA.
