Your estimates place me at about what I was refunded. Not the actual, which given the cost of food in Denmark and the need for a last minute hotel room, was still not unreasonable in my mind. But, it is what it is........ My sanity is worth something, so I won't argue this.
That was YYZ, food cost was cheaper so we were able to have something nicer than McD. However, the hotel was CAD 350++ (the cheapest hotel with airport shuttle). I called SAS to ask because I know there must be some sort of limit so I might as well know before booking a room or 2 for 5 of us. Hotels around CPH are cheaper than this.
