This is a new one to me, but it appears Lufthansa's reward flights have been entirely pulled from Aeroplan availability. I'm searching from major Canadian cities to MUC/FRA, but also common German domestic stuff like MUC <-> FRA, I'm familiar with these routes and there's always something. None of my searches are coming up with a single Lufthansa flight. Database problem? Policy change? Anyone know what's up?
People are way too quick to see a data glitch on the website and jump to asking whether Air Canada and [partner airline] have dissolved their agreement.
Air Canada's IT systems are in a constant state of rolling failure, and over the last five years or so, there's nearly always at least one Aeroplan partner whose flights are inaccessible to Aeroplan members due to one IT breakdown or another. Lufthansa Group flights will no doubt be back at some point, it's just a question of whether that's a few hours, or weeks or months like we've seen with Thai or SAS in the past.
