Your estimates place me at about what I was refunded. Not the actual, which given the cost of food in Denmark and the need for a last minute hotel room, was still not unreasonable in my mind. But, it is what it is........ My sanity is worth something, so I won't argue this.
Just to be clear, as I may have been a bit convoluted. If you know the birdstrike happened on the 17th, I'd dispute a flight on the 18th not being eligible for cancellation compensation. It is the home hub of the airline, not having a solution for day 2 can hardly be said to have been doing their utmost to avoid the delay/cancellation.
