I've heard this/seen this written before about not being able to transfer Shell credit card points to BA miles (including I think in the credit card literature). All I can say is I do it all the time (albeit maybe indirectly from the perspective of the credit card). Maybe people are saying that you can't transfer them directly from the credit card? My credit card points transfer to my Shell pluspoints account. From there I have no problem exchanging them for BA miles by logging into my pluspoints account on the net and requesting a BA miles award.
