When I worked at AF the La Premiere bags with red tags were loaded in the bulk with the crew bags- ie not AKE's - and 99.99% were delivered to the carousel first. At Alaska we have a 20 minute guarantee for delivery or give a $25 credit. In any case, as others have noted, priority bags get sorted as per the barcode on the baggage tag and the orange/yellow priority tags are purely vanity.
