I think that your email would be stronger if it didnt have leading questions - I would so on and ask simply 'I have a reservation ABCDEF - could you please confirm the baggage allowance in this booking" - that way you can have more confidence that the person actually checked your specific booking. What does the booking say if you check on the Malaysian Airlines manage booking?
