I called them and asked about the compensation for hotel and food. They said hotel night shouldn't be more than around 200 CAD per person per night, I can't exactly remember the food allowance - I think it's something like 100 CAD a day or something, 5 of us only claimed about 200 CAD or so.

I'd suggest you first check the receipts to see if they have missed processing some of your receipts.
