Also if you need to checkin after 11pm they will leave your keycards, etc. with security - just call ahead to advise. In the winter there are free ski lockers at the entrance to each building.
That said there are few changes coming:
- In Spring 2024, the Hyatt beach will close for planned renovation of the beach cottages, restaurant etc. (as further detailed in the Hyatt Regency Incline master thread). So Lone Eagle will close and there will be no Hyatt beach access during summer 2024. it remains to be seen whether the timeshares will be able to secure access at the adjacent public beach (which is pay-per-use and at times limited to Incline village residents).
- The units will be renovated soon - all new kitchens and I think updated furniture.
Hopefully Larry will do something about the hideous casino. It used to be the premium gaming establishment on the north shore but apparently no incentive to maintain with the demise of the low rent Cal-Neva and Biltmore. Full of cig smoke (even when only a dozen gamblers), high minimums and poor VP slot odds.
yeah. The casino was partially depressing even on a Friday night.
and hopefully beach access will still be part of the residence offering once the cottage upgrades are completed (and access to all the main hotel has to offer being that I recall reading somewhere it might be converted to a Park Hyatt?)
