We were there in early August for 3 nights so that my wife can do some reef diving. The location is great since the quay is < 5 mins walk. The hotel was pretty much sold out because of a wedding. There were only spa rooms available but we were not upgraded to one. We did get high floor two queens room though. You can have breakfast in the restaurant or lounge but we always went to the lounge. There was also evening spread in the lounge which was nice. Basically free flowing white and red wine (+ beers) and food substantive enough that we did not go out to eat. There was also rotation of food over multiple days which I appreciated. Overall very nice stays and we'll be back if we go diving again. Note that Cairns is bad with Uber and you usually have to wait quite a while.
