American Airlines AAdvantage members, regardless of their tier status or class of travel, are not eligible for access to oneworld member airline lounge when travelling solely on North American flights between the U.S., Canada, Mexico (except Mexico City), the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
Premium Customers
Customers traveling in First or Business class, who do not hold oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status, are not eligible for OW lounge access when travelling on American Airlines domestic flights solely within U.S., between U.S. and Caribbean, between U.S. and Mexico (except Mexico City), or Canada, other than the exception listed below:- Customers traveling in First or Business class on select non-stop domestic U.S. transcontinental flights (JFK-LAX and JFK-SFO, and vice-versa) are eligible for lounge access.
Hmm I see that MEX exception so maybe? We need our resident lounge access expert to reply (maybe JJeffrey is taking the day off).... I dont always trust AA site anymore, some of it is old and not accurate. For example what you listed there about the A321T Transcon isnt accurate anymore. Many have reported not being allowed in the QF F lounge on AA F to JFK.
