Flying with DD to US school. One bag is oversized ( 66") but not overweight. As 75k, given I could get free specialty baggage and my bike box is significantly longer, I assumed it would just be let by if everything else is in limits. Pretty certain I would get a pass from our outstation. Wondered if LGA home might be more of a gamble.
Anyone with recent experiences in the past decade? If no one has had a recent problem, I am happy to just gamble it. If others have been subject to a tape measure, well that requires more discussion.
For the record, the use of an oversize bag was not my choice.
