China Air is my biggest concern. I called them last week and checked on the cost of a golf bag as a third checked bag and I got the impression that there would be a charge for both excess and oversized bag. I don’t want to be at check in counter at LAX and be told that I owe them $400. At my house in Chiangmai, I have plenty of clothes, so I won’t be bringing any with me. I also have a nice, older set of golf clubs. I bought 4 new clubs and can use an old golf bag to carry them and probably get in around 62 inches. It’s not worth $400 to get them to Asia.
