BRU you can use the connection route to the right before you get to passport control. You go upstairs and through security, but not through immigration.

Slightly confused by this, are you thinking of somewhere esle? SOF is AMS like in set up so mixed arrivals and departures on the non-schengen side. I would rate it as very easy.
